That the Parliament congratulates Canal View Primary School, in the Edinburgh Pentlands constituency, on securing sportscotland’s Gold School Sport Award; understands that the award is in recognition of the school’s achievements in putting sport at the heart of its planning, practice and ethos; believes that this highlights the excellent practice at Canal View Primary School in increasing young people’s opportunities and engagement in physical education, school sport, leadership and life-long participation in sport, and commends the efforts of the school staff and pupils in securing this award.
