During dissolution, there are no MSPs and no parliamentary business can take place.

Celebrating 30 Years of the Scottish Indian Arts Forum

That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Indian Arts Forum (SIAF), a registered Scottish charity, on completing 30 years in 2024; understands that SIAF is devoted to inspiring and empowering ethnic communities through advancing arts and culture as a platform to enhance equality and active citizenship; acknowledges the support given by the City of Edinburgh Council, Consul General of India, Edinburgh, and MSPs, along with other funders and sponsors that are helping SIAF in its cause; acknowledges and appreciates SIAF for bringing the community together by organising various multicultural events throughout the year, including active engagement with various schools and organisations like HMP Edinburgh; considers that SIAF has been supporting the community by organising various fundraising events, including support during the COVID-19 pandemic; supports SIAF's initiatives, and wishes it well for all future events and celebrations.
