That the Parliament recognises the recent success of Elize Bauld, of Cowdenbeath, in being named as world number one by the World Karate Federation at a recent performance in Mexico; understands that she has earned enough points to reach the summit in the official World Karate Federation; believes that Elize has trained at Cowdenbeath Karate Club since she was three years old, showing her determination and dedication to the sport; understands that Elize is hoping to continue to represent Cowdenbeath and Scotland in competitions both nationally and internationally; congratulates Elize on her recognition, and wishes her all the very best for the future.
