That the Parliament acknowledges Burntisland Civic Week 2023, which it understands boasts a packed programme of events, offering something for everyone, and is planned from 16 to 25 June; notes that the event will begin with the shop window competition, which will see local businesses decorate their premises with the event’s "Around the World" theme; understands that Burntisland and District Pipe Band will parade before the crowning of the summer king and queen, to be followed by an afternoon of fun planned with entertainment from Radio Lollipop and a wide range of activities taking place; commends the organisers for their dedication in planning the event, and wishes them all the very best for Civic Week 2023 and the future.
