That the Parliament congratulates the Angus community groups awarded grants through the Scottish Government-funded Angus Rural Partnership; notes that this includes £7,101.96 for a Sustainable Kirriemuir community garden development, £12,000 for Angus Tourism Co-operative’s feasibility study on outdoor adventure activities, £14,264.82 for the upgrading of Charleston’s playpark, £16,420 for the Hospitalfield Trust to develop a volunteer and engagement programme, £16,750 for the Arbroath Sea Pool feasibility study, £18,964.80 for the Arbirlot Community Trust’s study of alternative uses of church buildings, £19,000 for a rural support programme being developed by Friockheim Community Hub, and £31,000 for Kirriemuir Food Hub’s acquisition of an electric vehicle; commends all projects, and thanks the Partnership Chair, Hugh Campbell Adamson, and all involved in the assessment process.
