That the Parliament congratulates Bill and Dixie Forbes on their retirement after running The Heritage Bar in Kirkcaldy for the last 19 years; notes that Bill and Dixie have been running bars and hotels since the late 1980s, starting with the Brig Tavern in Methil, before moving on to the Greenside Hotel in Leslie, and finally establishing themselves as popular owners of The Heritage; acknowledges that The Heritage was one of the first bars to capture the karaoke market in Kirkcaldy, which is still one of the main attractions of the bar; understands that The Heritage attracts many devoted regulars, giving the bar a sense of community that has existed for decades, and wishes Bill and Dixie all the best for their retirement.
