That the Parliament commends Helensburgh bass trombone musician Angus Butt for performing with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, which, it understands, is one of the oldest orchestras in the world; notes that the concert was led by acclaimed Argentinian pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim, who has led the orchestra since 1992; understands that the concert was live-streamed and viewed by millions around the world; applauds Angus' dedication to music whilst playing in several youth orchestras, including the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland and the West of Scotland Schools Symphony Orchestra, and wishes him every success for the future on the international stage.
