That the Parliament congratulates Inverurie West Parish Church on being awarded £3,300 through the Just Transition Participatory Budgeting Fund; notes that the church aims to create a Heat Hub in the chapel, which, it understands, will provide free access for local people who struggle to heat their own homes; understands that the room will be warm, lit and provide opportunities to charge devices, and that there will be free access to WiFi and hot drinks; further understands that the church hopes that this will bring opportunities for social interaction, reducing the impact of loneliness and isolation; applauds the Inverurie West Parish Church on this initiative, and wishes it well.
