Loch a Tuath News Celebrates 25 Years

That the Parliament congratulates Loch a Tuath News on the publication’s 25th anniversary; understands that the newspaper has been covering the local news of the east coast of the Isle of Lewis since its first edition in 1997, including the villages of Tong, Upper Coll, Coll, Vatisker, Tolsta, Back and Gress; congratulates Loch a Tuath News on being awarded Community Newspaper of the Year 2022 at the Highlands and Islands Media Awards; notes that the publication has been producing special editions over the last year to make up an entire volume in celebration of its milestone; commends all who have worked on or been involved with its production over the last 25 years, and hopes that the publication’s success will continue to grow in the years ahead.
