Clydebank Doctors Retire After Three Decades of Service to the Community

  • Submitted by: Dr Pam Gosal MBE, West Scotland, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Thursday, 14 April 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-04026

That the Parliament applauds the unwavering commitment of Dr Alex Potter and Dr Alison Wilding to the people of Clydebank for services to healthcare; acknowledges that the pair have worked as GPs in the area for over 30 years and are currently at the Red Wing of Clydebank Health Centre; understands that they have formed many cross-generational relationships with patients' families during this time, and notes that local patients have overwhelmed the doctors with gifts, cards and messages to mark their retirement.
