As an amendment to motion S5M-09218 in the name of Miles Briggs (General Practice), insert at end "; considers that the recent case of East Craigs Medical Practice in Edinburgh demonstrates the failure to effectively assist practices in distress; is deeply concerned that the SNP administration's mismanagement, which has resulted in projections that Scotland will be 856 GPs short by 2021, is being compounded by the Conservatives' approach to Brexit, putting a further 226 GPs from other EU countries working in Scotland at risk, and therefore further believes that the UK Government must immediately guarantee the rights of all EU citizens already working in the UK and recognise the importance of free movement to the NHS."
