As an amendment to motion S3M-2405 in the name of Robert Brown (Closure of G41/G42 Local Newspapers), insert at end “and is further concerned at the closure of community newspapers in other parts of Scotland, such as Edinburgh, where the Liberal Democrat/SNP-run council has withdrawn all financial support from the Edinburgh Community Newspaper Trust with the resulting closure of two community newspapers and continuing uncertainty for the others.”
