Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

To ask the Scottish Government, in light of confirmation by Home Energy Scotland that the installation of solar PV and/or energy storage systems will now only be eligible for funding as part of a package that includes other measures, how many live applications for solar-only projects were open when the eligibility criteria were updated, broken down by local authority area.

To ask the Scottish Government, in light of confirmation by Home Energy Scotland (HES) that the installation of solar PV and/or energy storage systems will now only be eligible for funding as part of a package that includes other measures, how much energy it estimates has been generated in each of the last five years as a result of solar-only measures supported by HES funding.

To ask the Scottish Government what action it will take in response to the Federation of Small Businesses Big Small Business Survey, which finds that almost two fifths of Scottish SMEs have limited or no understanding of government targets related to net zero and how these will impact their business, and that three fifths of Scottish SMEs do not feel enough support is available to them with regards to the impact that the transition to net zero will have on their business.
