Act of Sederunt (Fees of Solicitors in the Sheriff Court) (Amendment) 1999 (SSI 1999/149)

The Convener:

We have a short agenda today. We begin with the Executive's responses on statutory instruments. We had raised various matters with regard to SSI 1999/149, and we have received a response that appears to indicate that the Executive may have got this wrong but that that will make no discernible difference. It appears that the Executive has recognised its error; I hope that that error will not be repeated. It is suggested that we highlight the need for care, rather than draw the instrument to the attention of Parliament. Is that agreed?

Members:

Yes.
