I welcome everyone to the 20th meeting in 2004 of the Justice 1 Committee. We have received no apologies. I ask members to switch off their mobile phones. I will try to ensure that mine is switched off this time.
I invite the committee to consider whether it wishes to take item 3, which is a discussion of the committee's approach to its draft report on the Civil Partnership Bill, in private. Is that agreed?
