Deputy Convener

The Convener:

My first duty is to seek nominations for the position of deputy convener. The Parliament has agreed that only members of the Conservative and Unionist Party are eligible for nomination as deputy convener. Therefore, I ask for nominations of members from that party.

I nominate John Scott as deputy convener.

John Scott was chosen as deputy convener.

Congratulations, John.
