Deputy Convener

The next item of business is the choice of a new deputy convener. The Parliament has agreed that the deputy convener should come from among members of the Scottish National Party. I therefore ask for a nomination from one of its members for the post of deputy convener.

I nominate Rob Gibson.

Rob Gibson was chosen as deputy convener.

I am happy to accept.

Rob Gibson is now deputy convener of the committee. I look forward to working with you over the coming months, Rob.
