We now come to item 2, on subordinate legislation. We have been asked to consider the Wafer Scottish Seal Directions 1999 (SSI 1999/130). I am grateful to the clerk for the helpful note that was attached to the statutory instrument.
The note was very clear. In my view, we probably do not need to discuss or debate the instrument at all. Is everyone happy with that?
Unless we do anything, the directions become law, and I can see no reason why they should not.
