Interests

I welcome everyone to the first meeting of the Ad Hoc Standards Committee. As I am the oldest member of the committee—indeed, I am probably the oldest person in the room—I will chair the meeting until we agree on a convener.

The first item of business must be the declaration of interests. I take it that members have read their papers and understand what that means. I will ask members one by one to declare any interests that they consider relevant under the remit of the committee.

I will start with myself. I have nothing to declare.

To the best of my knowledge, I have no interests to declare. I was a member of the Standards Committee in the first session of Parliament, but I do not consider that to be relevant in this case.
