Good morning, everyone. I welcome you to the 21st meeting in 2018 of the Education and Skills Committee. I remind everyone present to turn mobile phones and other devices to silent for the duration of the meeting. Apologies have been received from Gillian Martin. In addition, Richard Lochhead is no longer a member of the committee, as he has been appointed the Minister for Further Education, Higher Education and Science. I am sure that we all wish Richard well in his new role and thank him for the job that he did as a member of the committee. Clare Adamson is here as a substitute member.
