Good morning. I welcome everyone to the seventh meeting of the Infrastructure and Capital Investment Committee, and remind members and members of the public to switch off their phones and BlackBerrys, as they affect the broadcasting system.
Convener, I would like to raise an issue and perhaps get some guidance before we move on to the next agenda item. We have been contacted by a gentleman who lodged a petition that we considered a few meetings back. We agreed to deal with the issue when it came up in the ferries review. Given the concerns that were raised in the exchange of e-mails about the committee not getting the full information at the time, perhaps we can learn from that for the future so that, if we have to consider a similar matter, we will have the full information.
That matter will be on the agenda for discussion at a future meeting. Formal withdrawal will be discussed. We will discuss the ins and outs of the matter then.
