Resolved,
That the Parliament agrees that the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Bill be passed but, in doing so, supports the view expressed by many giving evidence on the Bill, and by three committees of the Parliament, that the aims of the Bill will not be met unless services and facilities are adequate to meet the demands placed on them.
I have much pleasure in declaring that the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Bill is passed. [Applause.]

That the Parliament endorses the principle of protecting society from persons who pose a risk of causing sexual harm and agrees that the provisions within the Sexual Offences Bill that relate to devolved matters and which re-enact the Sex Offenders Act 1997, extend the categories of offenders required to register, increase restrictions on sex offenders and strengthen the notification requirements and operation of the Sex Offenders' Register should be considered by the UK Parliament.
The fourth question is, that motion S1M-4023, in the name of Iain Gray, on the Railways and Transport Safety Bill, which is UK legislation, be agreed to.

That the Parliament endorses the principle of introducing alcohol and drug testing for mariners as set out in the Railways and Transport Safety Bill and agrees that the relevant provisions in the bill on these issues that relate to devolved matters should be considered by the UK Parliament.
