The Convener

Under agenda item 3, the committee will consider a Scottish statutory instrument: the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Monitoring Surface Coal Mining Sites) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 (SSI 2017/350). The SSI is subject to the negative procedure, which means that its provisions will come into force unless the Parliament votes on a motion to annul the instrument. No motions to annul have been lodged. If members have no comments to make on the SSI, does the committee agree that it does not wish to make any recommendations in relation to the instrument?

Members indicated agreement.

We move into private session.

12:30 Meeting continued in private until 12:44.
