Deputy Convener

Thank you, everyone, for your kindness, and I thank Tom Mason for opening the meeting for us and taking the initial steps. Further to the choice of convener, the committee must now agree on a choice of deputy convener. Parliament has agreed that only members of the Scottish Green Party are eligible for nomination as deputy convener of this committee. I understand that Mark Ruskell is the party’s nominee for the post. Is that correct?

It is, yes.

Mark Ruskell was chosen as deputy convener.
