European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018: Instrument Procedure and Category

Under agenda item 2, we are considering whether the appropriate scrutiny procedure and categorisation have been applied to the following instrument.

Environment and Trade in Animals and Related Products (EU Exit) (Scotland) (Miscellaneous Amendment) Regulations 2022 (SSI 2022/138)

The instrument amends various pieces of primary and secondary legislation to ensure that environmental protection legislation continues to operate effectively following the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union.
