Decisions on Taking Business in Private

The Convener (James Dornan)

I welcome everyone to the 27th meeting in 2019 of the Local Government and Communities Committee. I remind everyone present to turn off their mobile phones. We have received apologies from Andy Wightman.

Under agenda item 1, the committee is invited to decide whether to take agenda items 3 and 4 in private. Item 3 is consideration of the evidence that we will hear under item 2 on the Scottish Elections (Reform) Bill, and item 4 is consideration of the committee’s future work programme. Do members agree to take those items in private?

Members indicated agreement.

The Convener

The committee is also invited to agree to consider in private at a future meeting a draft of the letter that we will write to the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee following today’s evidence session on the Scottish Elections (Reform) Bill. Is that agreed?

Members indicated agreement.
