Under agenda item 4, the committee will consider a legislative consent memorandum on the High Speed Rail (Preparation) Bill, which is United Kingdom Parliament legislation. The bill covers some devolved areas, so the consent of the Scottish Parliament is required before it can progress at Westminster.
My views concur precisely with those of the Scottish Government.
