Interests

I welcome everyone to the 29th meeting in 2009 of the Rural Affairs and Environment Committee. The main purpose of today's meeting is consideration of amendments at stage 2 of the Marine (Scotland) Bill. I ask everyone to turn off their mobile phones and pagers, as they impact on the broadcasting system.

Apologies have been received from the convener, Maureen Watt, who is unable to be with us. We look forward to welcoming her back next week. I welcome Sandra White, who is substituting for Maureen Watt, and ask her to declare any interests that are of relevance to the committee's remit.
