Our next item relates to an invitation to a conference on lobbying in Budapest. We first considered the matter at our previous meeting and asked for further information about the organisers and the costs involved before making a decision. The clerks have prepared a short, comprehensive paper setting out the background to the conference, which I hope that everyone has read.
I have no problem with the invitation. There were some issues about the way in which we received the invitation, but they were noted last time. I have no concerns about the conference.
Do members agree that I should take the invitation to the conveners liaison group?
