Decision on Taking Business in Private

Welcome to the 14th meeting in 2015 of the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee. I remind everyone present to switch off their mobile phones, if need be. Members may consult their tablets for the business of the meeting. We have received apologies from Dave Thompson MSP and Sarah Boyack MSP.

Agenda item 1 is a decision on whether to take item 3, which is consideration of a draft letter on the review of the agricultural holdings legislation final report, in private at this meeting and at future meetings. The committee is also invited to decide whether to consider a draft letter on the implementation of the Scottish Government’s biodiversity strategy in private at future meetings.
