Decision on Taking Business in Private
Good morning, and welcome to the 14th meeting in session 3 of the very hard-working Health and Sport Committee—we are meeting for the second time this week.
The second time in 24 hours.
It is a 24-hour task. I am so sorry.
I remind everybody present to switch off their mobile phones, whether they are sitting at the table or in the public gallery. Michael Matheson is running a little late, but he will be with us shortly. He is currently stuck in traffic—we all know what that feels like.
Item 1 on the agenda is to ask members to agree to take item 3 in private. Item 3 is our consideration of the budget process, which we must conclude today. Considering draft reports in private is the normal practice. Is that agreed?
Members indicated agreement.
I see mobile phones being switched off all round. How wonderful! That is power.
I am not sure that we want that in the Official Report, convener. It might go to your head.
I am still wrestling with the ability of someone to be running late while stuck in a traffic jam.
I can see that we need a break.
