Decisions on Taking Business in Private

I welcome members to the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee’s 10th meeting in 2014. As ever, I remind committee members and others to switch off their mobile phones, as they can affect the broadcasting system.

Agenda item 1 is consideration of whether to take items in private. Do we agree to consider a draft report on the Interests of Members of the Scottish Parliament Act 2006 and our work programme in private at future meetings?

Members indicated agreement.

Under the next item, do we agree to consider in private today item 6, which is on cross-party groups, and item 7, which is on committees meeting at the same time as chamber proceedings?

Members indicated agreement.
