The Convener (Roseanna Cunningham):

I welcome everyone, including those who are not usually at the Justice and Home Affairs Committee. This is the first meeting of stage 2 of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Bill.

I welcome to the committee Michael Matheson who, by a motion last week, is on the committee in the place of Tricia Marwick. This is his first attendance; no doubt he will soon wish he had not asked to join.
