Decisions on Taking Business in Private

Agenda item 3 seeks the committee's approval to take in private agenda item 4 and, at future meetings, to consider in private the draft report on our review of section 8 of the code of conduct.

Agenda item 4 is consideration of a request from the Scottish Parliamentary Standards Commissioner for a direction from the committee. As it contains confidential information, do we agree to take in private agenda item 4?

Members indicated agreement.

Secondly, does the committee agree at future meetings to consider in private the draft report on its review of section 8 of the code of conduct?

Members indicated agreement.
