Convener

The second item on our agenda is to choose a convener. The Parliament has agreed that only members of the Scottish National Party are eligible for nomination as convener of the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee. That being the case, I seek nominations for the position of convener.

I nominate Rob Gibson.

Rob Gibson was chosen as convener.

Thank you very much. It is an honour to serve in this post, and I look forward to working with you all. I thank you all for choosing me, which means I will remain in the chair for this meeting.
