Good morning and welcome to the 25th meeting in 2015 of the Local Government and Regeneration Committee. I ask everyone to switch off mobile phones and other electronic equipment as they affect the broadcasting system. Some committee members will refer to tablets during the meeting, as we provide papers in digital format. No apologies have been received.
I welcome George Adam to the committee. He replaces Clare Adamson, who has left us to join the Infrastructure and Capital Investment Committee. I thank Clare for all her hard work on the committee, and we are very much looking forward to working with George.
Agenda item 1 is to ask Mr Adam whether he has any relevant interests to declare.
Thank you, convener. I refer you to my published declaration of interests. I should make the committee aware that I am listed as a member of Renfrewshire Leisure trust but have not been a member since 2012, as that was a Renfrewshire Council appointment.
