Convener's Report

I met representatives from the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities on 4 November. I will put that matter on to the next agenda, so that we can go for lunch now.

Have we had a reply from the Minister for Finance about the special needs allowance?

You have had a reply.

Thank goodness for the clerk. The minister's reply simply stated that he would give us a more detailed response.

He is saying, "Thanks, I'll get back to you."

At least he is saying that.
