Our first duty is to deal with the membership of the committee. We have two changes to make. We have lost Alasdair Morgan and Irene McGugan. I pay tribute to them for their constructive and positive engagement in the work of this committee in its first year and a half. It is always a pity to lose members who make such a positive contribution. However, it is my pleasure to welcome to the committee Duncan Hamilton and Fergus Ewing, who replace the two members who have resigned from the committee. It is also my duty to invite them to make a statement in relation to the register of members' interests.
I have no such statement to make, convener.
I am a member of the Confederation of Small Businesses, the Forum of Private Business and the Scottish Council for Development and Industry. I am also the owner of a business property in Glasgow.
