Interests

I welcome colleagues to the 15th meeting in 2014 of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee. I remind everyone to switch off mobile phones because they affect the broadcasting system.

Agenda item 1 is for our new member, Dave Thompson, to declare any relevant interests. Dave replaces Richard Lyle. I take the opportunity to record our thanks to Richard for his work on the committee. He provided the appropriate level of challenge that we expect from all our colleagues. I hope that Dave, with his vast experience of the committee, will continue that good work. I welcome him back to the committee and invite him to declare any relevant interests.
