I welcome members to the third meeting in 2016 of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee. As usual, I remind everyone present to switch off mobile phones because they might upset the broadcasting system.

We have received apologies from Cameron Buchanan and Mary Fee.

Agenda item 1 is a declaration of interests. I invite John Scott, who is attending the committee for the first time, to declare any relevant interests.
