Scottish Parliament Subordinate Legislation Committee Tuesday 13 February 2007

[The Convener opened the meeting at 10:31]

The Convener (Dr Sylvia Jackson):

I welcome members to the 6th meeting in 2007 of the Subordinate Legislation Committee. We have received a number of apologies, from Murray Tosh, Janis Hughes and Euan Robson. Members will have noticed that we have almost 30 new instruments before us. I accept that there are no substantive points on a lot of them; however, one or two had to be taken away and relaid. We know that we are coming into a busy period, but I hope that our workload will even out.
