Decision on Taking Business in Private

The Convener (Linda Fabiani)

Welcome, everyone, to the fifth meeting in 2019 of the Committee on the Scottish Government Handling of Harassment Complaints. The papers for the meeting, including the agenda, have been distributed to all members. I ask everyone to ensure that any mobile devices are turned off.

The meeting that was scheduled to take place on 20 June, which was just before the recess, was postponed. Its intended content requires that we schedule a further meeting to consider the postponed items. However, I thought that it was important to call a meeting for today to consider a briefing on the assessment of expenses in judicial review litigation. Do members agree that we should take in private agenda item 2, under which that will be considered?

Members indicated agreement.

The Convener

We will move back into public session to announce any decisions that are taken during the discussion under agenda item 2.

17:19 Meeting continued in private.
