The Convener

Agenda item 3 is a short discussion to ratify the decisions that members made at our business planning meeting.

I put it on record that, on Tuesday 11 August, the sub-committee met informally via Microsoft Teams to consider its forward work programme up to the end of the year. I refer members to paper 3, which provides a note of the decisions that were taken. Do members want to make any points, or are they content to ratify those decisions?

As no member has raised any point, it seems that we are agreed. Thank you very much.

The next meeting of the sub-committee will be on 17 September, when we will take evidence on the police budget for the next financial year. In the meantime, any follow-up scrutiny issues will be dealt with in correspondence, which will be published on the sub-committee’s web page.

That concludes the public part of the meeting.

13:50 Meeting continued in private until 13:59.
