I welcome everyone to the 15th meeting of the Justice 2 Committee in 2004. I also welcome to the meeting the Deputy Minister for Communities, Mary Mulligan, who is joined by Joyce Lugton, the bill team manager, and Edythe Murie and Norman Macleod, who are solicitors with the Scottish Executive.

The first item is to ask the committee to consider whether to take items 5, 6 and 7 in private. Is that agreed?
