Item 1 is declaration of interests by new members. I welcome Bill Aitken to the committee. Margaret Ewing, who is present, and Stewart Stevenson will also join the committee at some point. As Parliament has not yet agreed their membership of the committee, Margaret Ewing is attending in a reserved capacity today. Parliament has agreed the membership of Bill Aitken and I welcome him formally to the committee. It is my duty to invite him to declare any interests of a general nature.
