Agenda item 4 is consideration of the Sheriff Court Fees Amendment Order 2018, which is subject to negative procedure. I refer members to paper 3, which is a note by the clerk. The paper includes the Scottish Government’s response to a concern that was raised by the committee about the original instrument containing an error that allowed certain exemptions for commissary fees.
Members have no comments. I note that it was good that we raised the issue and that we are satisfied with the explanation. Does the committee agree not to make any recommendation on the instrument?
