Organ Retention (PE406)
The committee is asked to consider PE406, from Margaret Doig, on post mortem examinations. When we considered the petition on 1 February we agreed to suspend consideration until after the introduction of the Human Tissue (Scotland) Bill, which has now been introduced. A background note on the petition, which has been circulated to members, makes a number of recommendations at paragraphs 7 and 8. If members have no comments, are they happy to proceed on the basis of those recommendations?
