Convener

The Deputy Convener:

Item 2 is selection of a new convener. I remind everyone that, under the d'Hondt system, the agreement is that the committee's convener will be a member of the Labour Party, so I will accept nominations only for members of the Labour Party. I invite nominations.

I nominate Malcolm Chisholm.

I take it that there are no other nominations, so Malcolm Chisholm is elected by acclaim.

Malcolm Chisholm was chosen as convener.

Congratulations, Malcolm.
