Deputy Convener

We need to decide on a new deputy convener to replace Eleanor Scott. The Parliament has agreed that members of the Scottish Green Party are eligible for nomination as deputy convener. I therefore seek nominations for members of that party.

I have looked at the short leet and I propose Mark Ruskell.

I second that.

That is a stunning endorsement. There are no other nominations.

Mark Ruskell was chosen as deputy convener.

I welcome Mark Ruskell to the post.
