The Convener (Karen Whitefield):

Welcome to the 24th meeting of the Education, Lifelong Learning and Culture Committee this year.

The first item on our agenda is a declaration of interests. I am glad to be able to welcome Claire Baker as a new member of the committee. She replaces Mary Mulligan. I invite Claire to declare any relevant interests.

I have no relevant interests to declare.

I hope that you will enjoy your time on the committee. I think it right that we record our thanks to Mary Mulligan for her contribution to the work of the committee during the past few months. She was always a constructive member and, although I am sure that Claire Baker will be an able replacement for her, we will miss Mrs Mulligan.
